User Guide

The MyDataHelps app is how participants interact with RKStudio. They use it to join projects, answer surveys, share their passive device data, and receive feedback.

Participants can enroll in multiple projects using the single MyDataHelps app.

The MyDataHelps app is currently available for iOS, Android, and web. You can download it by searching for “MyDataHelps” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Registering with MyDataHelps

When a participant first downloads the MyDataHelps app, they will need to register an account.

First, they will need to click “Join MyDataHelps.” They’ll be prompted to enter some basic demographic information.

After registration, they will then have to agree to the MyDataHelps Privacy Policy so they understand how their data will be used.

Next they will be asked for an electronic signature and prompted to enable notifications.

RKStudio will send new participants an email to verify their email address, and remind them to do so. If they don’t receive the email, they can touch the “Verify your email address” notification to resend it.

After registration, participants can enroll in projects.

System Requirements

For Apple devices, MyDataHelps is supported on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and iPod touch running iOS 9.3 and higher.

For Android devices, MyDataHelps requires Android version 5.0 or higher.

The web version of MyDataHelps is supported in most major web browsers, but works best in Google Chrome.
